Interfering with China & Russia Again.
Secretary Kerry & Turkey & the Middle East.
The Peace between China & Russia? The
alternative is a hostile relationship between Russia and China. Not a
good thing. We are having enough difficulty navigating the
misalliance between China and Japan over islands in the South China
Sea.
"Don't ever believe China and Russia will go to
war against each other." Ted Kozak. my 7th grade teacher. That was
true 48 years ago, it is true today.
"There are no unintended consequences. Only unwanted consequences." Slim Fairview.
My Power-Point Presentation, the Future of the G 20 in Good times and bad is
exactly about how the zero sum game won't work anymore. And the
presentations is no longer about the G 20 alone, anymore.
The fallacy is that we are going to interfere in the China-Russian relationship for any positive end.
Our history of diplomacy goes back 237 years--dealing with Europe [read: people like us].
Already Sec. Kerry has taken a hostile position with Turkey and with Egypt. Kerry doesn't have the juice.
Kerry is great for talking diplomacy with Lord Palliser over dry sherry and biscuits.
The Middle East? Not so much.

Slim
